Josephina Charabati Studio offers international services in concept design, development and management for architectural and interior design projects, narrative objects and art. Thanks to a talented and experienced team of thinkers, architects, engineers, experts and artisans, we design and accompany demanding projects through unique immersive journeys into senses and emotions. It is about giving birth to an environment where life and emotions indefinitely interact with environmental & human factors.
Our activity covers both personal projects and sub consulting for international design agencies. Mostly High-end small to medium-size projects in the residential, commercial, health, cultural and heritage sector.
Our services cover all project stages from inception to tender development, site management and handing over. Including:
- Client brief assessment.
- Site analysis (Topography, regulations, research).
- Feasibility study.
- Concept design, 3d visualization and mood boards.
- Permit document file according to construction regulations.
- Project development: Issue of Tendering, BOQ and specifications.
- Client representation: Advising, reporting to and representing the client in all architectural and on-site construction matters.
- Bidding and negotiation.
- Site supervision: Time, cost and quality management: Technical direction and support to site engineers. Detail and problem solving.
- Handing over supervision.

The ARTIST
Josephina Charabati was born in Germany in 1966 from a German mother and a Lebanese father. She moved to Lebanon as a child and grew up in Beirut.
A childhood and adolescence marked by the complex environment in the Middle East. Parameters that will impact the artist’s work.
After graduating in Architecture, she worked in practices in Germany and Lebanon before establishing her own workshop in 2000. A multidisciplinary creative hub where, architecture, design and art meet in a perpetual process of experimentation and research.
She started exhibiting her art work in 2000.
From wall objects, to sculptures, ink drawings and found objects assemblage, she infinitely explores about our path and transformation through distance and time. Her work tackles social and philosophical themes such as migration, recurrence and the wabi sabi concept of acceptance and resilience.

BIO
Josephina Charabati graduated with a master's degree in Architecture from USEK Faculty of Fine Arts (Universite St.Esprit Kaslik, Lebanon) in 1991.
In parallel, she attended Psychology courses at the Lebanese University.
She joined the OEA (Order of engineers & architects) in 1992 and worked in architecture practices in Germany & Lebanon before establishing in 2000.
She is a member of the PMI (Project management institute) since 2016.
She is a part time Architecture and Interior design faculty at USEK and LAU.
